Drove the backend design and implementation of the Employee Purchase Program to provide employees with discounted Intuit products via vouchers. Designed the database schema and created tables on AWS DynamoDB to track vouchers issued to employees. Implemented a RESTful Java service to perform CRUD operations on the database.

Developer in TurboTax desktop, MacOS and Windows. Delivered key business features including a contextual tax query system and a co-browsing experience to connect users with tax experts. Improved product quality by adding a tool for crash reporting and analysis. Reduced crashes by roughly 40% over a year.

Imported business and financial data from QuickBooks into TurboTax using REST APIs, thus jump starting a tax return. This helped reduce the time spent on preparing a tax return by 20 minutes and data entry errors by 15%.
